Rail Road Accident |
Greensboro, Nov. 8th |
The evening train bound for Danville from
this place {on the Piedmont RR}, ran off the track at 4 o'clock this afternoon, 3 miles
from town. Gen. Bankshead, of Miss., and Mrs. Palmer, of Richmond,
were injured; the latter seriously, rendering amputation of one leg
necessary. Several others were slightly injured, and three cars, with
their freight, were totally wrecked. |
