| Council met persuant to
adjournment. Present ***** The petition of R. W. Dowling, in reference
to the removal of his house off Schrimppf street, was referred to a
special committee of three, consisting of Ald. Taylor, Anders and Lord,
to confer with the Galveston, Houston & Junction
{Galveston & Houston Junction} Railroad Company on the subject.
