| This connection is at length finished --
the first through train arriving at this place from Danville on
Saturday last {May 21st}. For the good of
the country the road should have been completed just eighteen months
ago, ??? months after the President urged ?????; but unfortunately the
??? of the South have yet to ??? the art of ??ing with work. The bump
of worker and ??e has not yet developed itself ????? of the
Confederacy. |
