Wilmington, Charlotte & Rutherford Railroad |
The bill passed to amend the charter of
the Wilmington, Charlotte & Rutherford Railroad Company, provides
for an additional exchange of State bonds for the bonds of Company to
the amount of $1,000,000, being $660,000 for the Eastern section,
(Wilmington to Charlotte) and $340,000 for the Western section
(Charlotte to Rutherford). It is also provides for construction of a
line between this Road and the North Carolina Road at Salisbury {the
Atlantic, Tennessee & Ohio RR}. |
