Virginia and North Carolina Coalfields |
A bill has been introduced into the
Virginia Legislature to increase the capital stock of the Richmond
& Danville Railroad Company to $2,000,000, to enable said company
to extend a branch from its terminus to connect with the Coalfields
Railroad {the Western RR} in North Carolina, to pass through the counties of
Pittsylvania, Henry, Patrick and Carroll, to some point on the
Virginia & Tennessee Railroad. |
