| The steamboat Grand Bay
arrived from Wiess' Bluff, with 3000 crossties for the Eastern Texas
railroad. ***** Arrived at the Pass, in week ended 27th ult., one
steamship, six steamboats, and six schooners, among the latter, the
Whirlwind, from New York. ***** The Whirlwind brought out two
passenger and ten platform cars for the Texas & New Orleans R. R.,
and iron and material for the Eastern Texas Road. |
