Virginia and the N. C. Coalfields |
A bill has been introduced into the
Virginia legislature to increase the capital stock of the Richmond
& Danville Railroad Company to $2,000,000, to enable the company
to extend a branch from its terminus {Danville} to
connect with the Coalfields Railroad in North Carolina, to pass
through the counties of Pittsylvania, Henry, Patrick and Carroll, to
some point on the Virginia & Tennessee Railroad. |
