| Further Particulars of the Battle of Galveston |
| We are in receipt of a copy of Fiake's
Bulletin, published at Galveston, from which we extract some additional
particulars and incidents of the battle: |

| The railroad between this place and
Virginia Point {Galveston, Houston & Henderson RR}
has again gone into operation, but so far exclusively used for
the transportation of troops and supplies. The Federals had not injured
the track. |
