| Mobile papers of the latest
dates, represent the negroes enlisting in large numbers in that city. |
| The train captured on the
Florida railroad {Alabama & Florida
(of Alabama) RR} on the 27th ult., had bags of delayed mail from
Richmond for Mobile and the west. Twenty thousand dollars worth of
postage stamps for Mobile was captured. The Southern Express lost the
contents of their safe and the packages for the trip. ***** |
