The mails are sadly out of joint between
Richmond and this place, although connected by Railroad all through
and very direct at that. Passengers come through regularly -- no
difficulty whatever -- and yet the Richmond papers only come through
semi-occasionally. We some times receive them in squads of two or
three, and then again in large numbers. Who is to blame? Surely some
one is responsible and we hope the Richmond papers will cause him to
be removed from a position for which he is unsuited. |
