Soldier Injured |
A soldier belonging to a North Carolina
regiment, stationed near Evansport, while attempting to get upon the
Fredericksburg {Richmond, Fredericksburg &
Potomac RR} train on Broad street yesterday morning, missed his
footing, and one of the cars passed over his leg, crushed it in a
shocking manner. He was quickly removed to one of the Military
hospitals in our city. The injured man had re-enlisted for the war, on
the way to join his regiment. |
