| Mail communication between
Selma and Meridian is open again. Passengers who arrived at Selma Friday
night, say the gap in the road this side of Meridian is only about two
hundred yards in length, and will be repaired in a short time. Until
then the cars will meet at the gap, change freight and passengers and
return, causing but very little delay. {Alabama &
