Railroad Convention |
This body was organized for business
yesterday morning in the City Hall. A large number of Presidents and
Superintendents were in attendance. John Caldwell, Esq., President of
the South Carolina Railroad, was appointed Chairman, and Mr. Jones, of
Alabama, and Mr. Tyler, acted as Secretaries. The meeting was a
harmonious one, and the proceedings of considerable public interest. |
