| Accident on the South Carolina Railroad |
| The Augusta Chronicle of Saturday
says: "The afternoon passenger train on the South Carolina Road was
several hours behind time yesterday, owing to an accident. We learn that
a freight train ran off the track near Lowry's, and seven cars were
smashed up." |
