The Blue Ridge Railroad |
The bridge over Seneca river, at Cherry's,
is sufficiently advanced to completion to allow the iron to be laid down
and the cars to pass over. This difficulty surmounted, the completion of
the road to Walhalla will soon be effected. Suggestions have been made
that the auspicious event should be celebrated by the people of the
District. What shall be the response? The completion of the road to
Walhalla cannot fail to have a most happy effect on that section of the
District, and we believe to the whole surrounding country for many
miles. |
