| Southwestern Railroad Company |
| This Company, as will be seen from the
notice of the Secretary and Treasurer, has declared a dividend of four
dollars per share, on the business of their road, for the last six
months. |
| At their semi-annual meeting, held at
Macon, the present week, the Board of old Directors were re-elected,
as follows: |

| Directors -- John W. Anderson, Wm. A.
Black, Wm. S. Holt, S. M. Furlow, and R. A. Smith. |
