Accident |
Mr. John Conroy, who has the contract with
the {Memphis, Clarksville & Louisville} Railroad
Company, for transferring the baggage at the Tennessee river, while
getting a loaded hand-car up the inclined plane, at the river bank on
Thursday last, fell over the embankment, a distance of twenty-five or
thirty feet, breaking his right leg and severely injuring his left ankle. |
