Railroad Accident |
The detention of the train
from Montgomery {Montgomery & West Point RR}
on Friday was caused by an accident which occurred two miles
beyond Opelika. The engine ran off an embankment, breaking it and
crushing the tender, severely injuring a negro and slightly wounding the
engineer, Mr. Holland. |
