We learn from the Columbus
Times, that the Local has arrived, having seen the elephant in Atlanta,
to his entire satisfaction. Though not Gray-zed by any Yankee
bullets, he seems to have suffered considerably in a box car, that some
inhuman conductor placed him in. If the combined efforts of the Local,
of the Times, and the Editor of the Enquirer, (who was in the same
box), don't annihilate that conductor, he is certainly proof. |
