The {Savannah}
Republican also reports that a
gravel train on the {Savannah, Albany
&} Gulf Road, about 145 miles from
Savannah, on Wednesday morning early, ran over two men named Wm. R.
and Thomas Keen, brothers, and furloughed soldiers, who were both
intoxicated and lying on the track. The train carried them to the
hospital at Savannah, where one of the soon died. The other is
dreadfully mangled and can hardly recover. |
