Cars Lighted by Gas |
We noticed at Millen on Monday
night last a train of cars on the Central {(of
Georgia)} rail road lighted with gas. Underneath each car is
placed a reservoir which will contain sufficient gas for the trip from
Savannah to Macon and return. It is a decided improvement on the oil
lamps commonly used. |
