Groceries -- How to Get Them |
We call special attention to
the communication from "Atlanta" in our paper this morning.
The matter discussed by him presents a question for serious
consideration by our merchants and railroads; and it seems to us that
the railroads here should send up a large force of their engines and
freight cars, and bring away the freights from Memphis, which are
wasting, and for the want of which our merchants and people are
suffering. Let it be done at once, if possible. |
