Wheat Prospects -- Georgia & Alabama
Railroad |
Last week we visited
Jacksonville, Ala., ***** |
The Railroad from Blue
Mountain, in Ala., to the Georgia line is now being constructed in
good earnest. A hundred hands or more are at work on that end of the
road. Why is it that nothing is being done from Rome to the Alabama
line? We presume in two or three months the trains will be running
from Selma to the Georgia line -- about twenty miles from Rome. |
