Railroad Accident |
On the 11th inst., a passenger
car on the Greenville {& Columbia}
(S. C.) Railroad was thrown from a bridge, 22 feet, into the creek
below. About 15 passengers (mostly soldiers) were wounded. Among the
wounded was the Rev. Mr. Moise, injured seriously in the knee, but was
able to go on. One of the soldiers was severely wounded, and it is
thought he would not recover. |
