| Alexandria, Loudoun & Hampshire
Railroad |
| In addition to the train which
now leaves Alexandria at 6 1/4 A. M., and Leesburg at 11 1/2 o'clock,
A. M., there will be a daily train, (Sunday's excepted) leaving
Alexandria at 4 P. M., and Leesburg at 4 o'clock, A. M. This train
connects by Stages with the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad at the Point
of Rocks, and by Stages from Martinsburg to Hagerstown; thence by
Railroad to Harrisburg. Thus giving ready access to Baltimore,
Philadelphia, New York, and the West. |
| This Road connects also with
the Orange & Alexandria Railroad going South and Southwest, by way
of Richmond and Lynchburg.` |
