Fatal Accident -- Two Men Killed |
The Manassas {Gap
RR} down train this
morning, while passing over the Edinburg Bridge, in the county of
Shenandoah, ran over and killed two men. These men, whose names were
Holzman and Coffee, had been employed as watchmen at the bridge. From
the fact that a lot of straw was found near the bodies, it is inferred
that the men had laid down on the bridge for a nap, and did not awake
until the train was too near for them to escape. The bodies were
dreadfully mangled. |
