The Winchester Republican
says, that the late march of troops from the Manassas Gap Road to
Winchester, has made many converts to the "Strasburg
connection," and that a member of the Senate who has heretofore
voted against the scheme will hereafter support it. He will think
better of it after a while; more especially when he sees it is a
hundred times more important to foster the Manassas Gap Road, rather
than cripple it by this Strasburg connection. |
