It is to be hoped that the
protest sent from this place, by the city authorities, on behalf of
the people, against the proposed "Strasburg extension," as
it is called, will have its proper influence in arresting a measure
fraught, we believe, with evil to the interests of this city, the
Manassas Gap Railroad, and the State generally. |
