A shocking accident occurred
at the Depot of the {Richmond &} York
River Railroad, this morning {actually, the
10th} about five o'clock. A man named Thomas
Devlin, in attempting to step from one car to another while the train
was in motion, fell through, Both legs and one arm were horribly
crushed. The shock to the poor man's nervous system was so great, that
he died before a physician reached him. |
