Detention of the Orange Train |
The night train of the Orange
& Alexandria Railroad, due at Lynchburg at 5 o'clock, on Friday,
did not arrive until 11, the train which left there at half past 7 on
Thursday night, having been thrown from the track about 35 miles from
that city, in Nelson county, by running into a land-slide. With the
exception of some slight damage to the engine, and one or two of the
cars, no injury was sustained. |
