We learn from very good authority, that the work upon
this Road from Mayfield to Milledgeville, will begin immediately,
and that it will progress as rapidly to completion as it is possible
under the circumstances, to do so. Gen. Beauregard has determined
that the road is a great military necessity, and has ordered the
work on it to begin immediately. |
