We learn from the Mobile
Tribune of the 28th, that: |
On Wednesday there was a
serious collision on the Alabama & Tennessee River railroad
between Oxford and Silver run. J. Covill, engineer, was killed, and
both firemen (negroes) were severely wounded. Lieutenant Morey,
Adjutant of the Selma post, was badly hurt in the head and hips. Gen.
Dan Adams was slightly wounded. |
