| Collision |
| A government train going down
and a lumber train coming up on the Waynesboro Road {on
the Augusta & Savannah RR}, collided near the
thirteen mile post, Thursday evening, about 4 o'clock. Both engines
were destroyed and several box cars badly damaged. Three negro
passengers were seriously injured. |
