| We learn that up to yesterday
noon 5,172 shares of stock in this road had been taken in Augusta. In
Edgefield, we learn that $150,000 has been subscribed, and in
Graniteville $125,000. The first ten subscriptions in Columbia
amounted to $100,000. Those who wish stock in this enterprise should
apply early. |
