The undersigned, Commissioners
duly appointed for the city of Augusta, do hereby give notice that
they have this day opened Books of Subscription to the Capital Stock
of said Road, in accordance with the terms of the charter, at the
hardware store of Henry Moore, No. 235 Broad street. The said books to
remain open daily, form 9 to 12 o'clock, A. M., for sixty days, except
the capital stock of one million of dollars shall have been sooner
subscribed. Capital -- One Million of Dollars. Shares, Twenty-Five
Dollars each. The sum of one dollar per share is required to be paid
at the time of subscribing; but the Commissioners will receive fifty
per cent or twelve and one-half dollars per share. |
