We learn from the Meridian
(Miss.) Clarion, of the 10th that the first train from Brandon {on
the Southern of Mississippi RR}, since the Sherman raid, came
through on Sunday afternoon. Trains run regularly to that point now,
leaving here {Meridian} at 6:30 in the
morning, and arriving here at 6:20 in the evening. |
