| Between West Point and Atlanta |
| There are now only nine miles
of track to lay to complete the West Point road to Atlanta {the
Atlanta & West Point RR} -- three miles this side of East
Point, and six miles between there and Atlanta. A large quantity of
iron for this road passed through Columbus Friday. |
