| The depot at McBean's Station
on the Augusta and Waynesboro railroad {Augusta
& Savannah RR} was burnt last Saturday night by a couple of
stragglers, we regret to say, from our army. It is high time that an
example was made of some of the desperate characters prowling over the
country at large, and we trust if they are caught summary punishment
will be dealt to them. |
