Notice to Shippers |
Private transportation of
freight can only be had over this road under special contract, as in
consequence of the imperfect condition of the cars, and the
impossibility of keeping them in repair, the Road can only offer
transportation without assuming any risk for loss or damage by fire,
rain, or acts of the enemy, which contract must be endorsed on the
receipt. |
