| Accident on the South Carolina Railroad |
| An accident occurred on this
road Saturday afternoon about thirty five miles below Hamburg. It was
caused by the breaking of a rail; first car was thrown off the track
killing a negro man; no other lives were lost. |
| The train arrived in this city
about ten o'clock. |
