Contractors Wanted |
To Supply Wood and Ties for the Use of the
Georgia Railroad |
The undersigned is authorized
to contract with a limited number of men to supply this road with Fuel
and Ties, and to offer details to such persons (not near the enemy in
the field) as can furnish such supplies, with the privilege to retain
such negroes and teams as are actually employed. |
No person need apply who has
not the lumber land and teams to furnish the wood and ties promptly on
the line of road between Augusta and Social Circle, and on the Athens,
Washington, and Milledgeville and Warrenton Branches. |
In accepting contracts,
parties who can furnish the largest amount and deliver promptly, will
have the preference. |
