Port Royal Railroad |
At a meeting of the stockholders of the Port Royal
railroad, held at Barnwell C. H., January 4th, 1861, Jas. Patterson,
Esq., was called to the Chair, and W. M. Hunter, Esq., requested to
act as Secretary.

Mr. R. J. Davant, the President of the company, was
present, and stated what progress had been made in the surveys; and
also informed the company as to its financial condition.
|
There not being a majority of the stockholders present,
no business was transacted.
|
Mr. Davant offered the following resolution, viz.:
|
Resolved, That when this meeting adjourn, it
stands adjourned to meet again at Barnwell C. H., on Friday, the 18th
inst.

On motion, the meeting adjourned.
