| An Act to Amend and Act Entitled An Act to Charter the
Shelby & Broad River Railroad Company. |

| Section 1. Be it enacted by
the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby
enacted by the authority of the same, That "An act to charter the
Shelby & Broad River Railroad," passed the 10th day of February, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, be and the
same is hereby amended so as to make the fifth section, 19th and 20th
lines, read "ratified on the second day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and forty-seven." |
| Sec. 2. Be it further
enacted, That this act shall be in force from its ratification. [Ratified
the 20th day of December, 1864.] |
