Will you allow six Seaboard cars to go to Weldon to
exchange with a like number of that Road now there with chains and
anchors for Wilmington also to take 8 of our cars to bring down
stores for the company at Goldsboro. The Engine could also take six
cars to bring Quarter Masters corn from Halifax to Wilmington making
twenty cars in all. If you will allow this and one of the retained
engines Mr Whitford {President, Atlantic &
North Carolina RR} and our Agent can see it off behind
passenger train in the morning. |
