Dear Sir, |
On the 14th Oct you wrote to me that you would send
trains early in the next week to Tarboro for corn; but so far none
have yet arrived. As that section of the country is exposed to the
ravages of the enemy, I beg that you will at once send at least one
train there for corn & send the corn to this place. There are nearly
forty thousand bushels ready for shipment now
{140 car loads}. Do all you can & do it immediately. |
