| Will you please to call a meeting of the
directors of your road {Atlantic & North Carolina
RR} to see about letting the iron go for the gun boats. I dont
know what better to do. Let the meeting be called as soon as possible if
you please. They are pressing upon me every day and under the doubt and
uncertainty attending the completion of the boats. I dont feel at
liberty to give the iron without further advise. |
