Your telegram in reply to mine received I made contracts
on the line of the NCarolina RR with the consent of the President
for wood to furnish Camp & Hospitals say 200 cords per month for 10
months. As soon as I had completed my contracts for the quantity I
desisted from further purchases. I now have an official letter from
Mr Sumner stating his intention (as he is now doing) of
appropriating one half to the use of the Company. I now call on you
as Gov Agent for RRoads in this state to protect this property and
allow me transportation. |
