Dear Sir, |
|
I have delayed answering yours of 11th hoping Mr Sumner
would send me the train as requested to haul the wood but up to the
present time he has failed in doing so though he Has been hauling
for others. Today he telegraphed me that the train was in Raleigh,
but on my application to Mr. Barrinus he refused it to me. I really
need your assistance in the matter. If the NC RRoad will not afford
the necessary facilities for transportation I would like to charter
a train from some other Road. In this however I shall be governed by
your god judgment. One thing is certain I have in nothing departed
from my agreement with Mr. Webb, nor said or done anything to
purples your negotiations with the NC RRoad. |
