I have just received a
communication from the Hon. Charles F. M. Garnett, Commissioner for the
distribution of Iron, informing me that he had requested you to forward
me three hundred and fifty yards of Railroad Iron. May I beg that you
will send this iron with the least possible delay, as it is of vital
importance to the Government that my warehouse should be connected by a
track to the Piedmont & N. C. Railroads, in order that supplies may be
sent forward with all possible dispatch. |
