I had a car sent to Cartersville when I
first got the impression that one was needed. The Slate has not been
loaded. I made arrangements with the W&A RR Co {Western
& Atlantic RR} to put one of their cars at Cartersville for
that purpose & continue to send it until your slate was all moved.
There is no difficulty about you putting your slate after it is
loaded. Maj Young wrote you this morning about this matter but he
could not give you the particulars as he was not advised. I write to
Mr Dever to day. It may possibly be attended to without any further
trouble. |
Yours very Respectfully |
